Warhammer Fantasy Omnibus

Return to the world-that-was and revel in the legends of the mountain folk, the dwarfs whose bravery and heroism forged an empire that lasted millennia. Four novels chart some of their greatest challenges – and mightiest victories.

Four classic tales from the Warhammer Chronicles will give you a grounding on the race now known as duardin and their penchant for oaths, grudges and vengeance against all who wrong them.

The dwarfs are a stoic and long-lived race. Their unbending will and pride serve them as fearsome warriors on the battlefield and the greatest craftsmen across the Old World. But cross them at your peril, as a dwarf grudge is never forgotten, a quest for revenge handed down from generation to generation until the debt is settled in blood - In this action-packed omnibus, the bravery and resilience of the dwarfs is brought to life as they wage war against the twisted powers of Chaos, vile skaven ratmen, brutal orcs, cunning goblins and their oldest adversaries, the mysterious and powerful elves. From the ancient dwarf holds, in the wake of the War of Vengeance to the killing fields of the Empire, battle will be fought in the name of Grungni, Grimnir and Valaya, and no foe shall forget the day they met these unbreakable warriors in battle.

In the bleak mountains of the Warhammer Old World, the dwarf race fights a bitter battle for survival against its ancient enemies. When the hold Karak Varn is overrun by skaven ratmen, Dwarf Thane Uthor makes a rash vow to the enormity of such a task.
How can this band of dwarfs, brave and stalwart as they are, ever hope to triumph against such impossible odds?

In the ancient days of the Old World, long before the time of men, the dwarfs and elves are at the height of their prosperity. As King Bagrik of the dwarfs and Prince Ithalred of the elves forge a trade pact, a vast horde of northmen attacks the elf settlement. When King Bagrik's son is slain, the dwarfs join forces with the elves, eager for vengeance. Can the dwarfs and the elves put aside their differences long enough to prevail over foe?

With the War of Vengeance over, the dwarfs of the Old World have begun to rebuild their empire. But they have been drastically weakened by their conflict with the elves, and as great earthquakes tear the mountains asunder, enemies old and new descend upon the dwarf holds. To the west, in the Dragonback Mountains, the dwarfs of Ekrund think themselves safe from the threats faced by their eastern cousins. They are wrong. As greenskins march into their realm in terrifying numbers and war beckons, the Angbok clan and their fellows must fight to save everything they hold dear.
